As part of preparations for the fifth edition of the Future Real Estate Forum, taking place in May 2025, Forum officials met in London with Baroness Theresa May, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and member of the House of Lords. The meeting was held during an international tour aimed at engaging prominent global leaders, and concluded with an agreement for the Baroness to participate in the Forum\u2019s program and activities.<\/p>\n

The partnership agreement was signed on behalf of the Forum by Reem Al-Harbi, Chief Operating Officer of the Future Real Estate Forum. Discussions during the meeting explored potential areas of collaboration and highlighted the ways in which the former Prime Minister could contribute to key conversations at the Forum. Her involvement comes at a time of significant transformation within Saudi Arabia\u2019s real estate sector, marked by growing foreign investment and emerging opportunities across the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

This partnership supports the Forum\u2019s ongoing efforts to build strategic global alliances. The upcoming edition is expected to include approximately 300 speakers, featuring leading local and international experts in real estate, investment, and consulting, representing more than 140 countries. The event will also coincide with the initial rollout of the updated foreign real estate ownership system in July 2025, ahead of its full implementation in January 2026. This regulatory milestone is regarded as one of the most significant frameworks supporting the growth of real estate investment.<\/p>\n

Abdullah Al-Harbi, CEO of the Future Real Estate Forum and Head of the FIABCI International Office in Saudi Arabia, noted that the participation of globally recognized leaders reflects the Forum\u2019s rising international profile and continued success across previous editions. He welcomed Baroness May\u2019s involvement, emphasizing that contributions from distinguished global figures help strengthen the Forum\u2019s standing among the world\u2019s leading real estate platforms.<\/p>\n

Preparations for the fifth edition are nearing completion. The event will take place 26\u201328 January 2026, under the patronage of the Saudi Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and will be held under the theme \u201cExpanding Horizons, Flourishing Real Estate.\u201d Strong participation is anticipated from senior leaders, experts, and major organizations from Saudi Arabia and around the world.<\/p>\n

Throughout the Forum, participants will address a wide range of topics including digital transformation, the future of resilient urban economies, innovation in real estate development, and the adoption of artificial intelligence and virtual reality within the sector. An accompanying exhibition will showcase the latest technologies, solutions, and products in real estate.
