Real Estate Supply Chain Forum Concludes with Strategic Agreements and Partnerships Exceeding SAR 20 Billion

Riyadh:  — The second edition of the Real Estate Supply Chain Forum concluded at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, with NHC as a strategic partner and the General Real Estate Authority (REGA) as the legislative partner. Organized by Eye of Riyadh, the forum brought together a broad range of local, regional, and international participants, including leading supply chain executives, consultants, contractors, manufacturers, real estate service providers, and prominent local and international speakers.

The forum featured a series of panel discussions and workshops addressing the key current and future challenges facing real estate suppliers and supply chain stakeholders. Discussions also highlighted efforts to develop the sector’s mechanisms through strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening local content in the Kingdom. Participants explored plans and strategies to secure and enhance real estate supply chains, improve service delivery, and support the sector’s continued development. A number of strategic agreements were also signed on the sidelines of the forum.

More Than SAR 20 Billion in Supply Chain Agreements

During his keynote address, Mohammed Al-Bطي, CEO of NHC, revealed that the forum witnessed the signing of agreements supporting real estate supply chains with a total value exceeding SAR 8 billion. In addition, agreements worth more than SAR 5 billion were signed to localize industries, while 15 supply agreements worth a combined SAR 8 billion were signed during the recent Real Estate Future Forum.

These agreements represent a major contribution to urban development and local content, reflecting the significant progress Saudi Arabia has made in developing its real estate supply chain sector.

Al-Bطي also highlighted the objectives and achievements of “Supply Pro,” an NHC platform that connects local and international buyers with suppliers. The platform contributes to increasing the localization rate of building-material industries used in residential units to 7%, while also supporting efforts to create more than 5,000 new jobs within the real estate supply chain ecosystem over the next three years.

NHC is also targeting new investment opportunities worth more than SAR 10 billion across logistics, procurement, and manufacturing services.

Al-Bطي noted that these efforts have had a positive impact on local content across NHC projects, with the share of locally supplied products increasing from 54% to 63% by the end of 2024, creating further employment opportunities for Saudi nationals.

NHC Signs 11 Strategic Agreements

During its participation in the forum, NHC signed 11 strategic agreements worth SAR 145 million with SOKOK Financial, Monsha’at, GME, Dr. Houses, HLZ, Buyut Al Watania for Industries, Commercial Air Technology Solutions, Gulf Energy, Zong Global, Al-Muhaidib Cement Products, and other partners.

The agreements aim to strengthen the real estate supply chain ecosystem and contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Panel Discussions and Workshops

The forum featured panel discussions, workshops, and presentations highlighting leading experiences and practices in the real estate supply chain sector, with participation from several government entities, including the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority, General Real Estate Authority, and NHC.

Abdullah Al-Duhaim, CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector at the General Real Estate Authority, emphasized that the real estate sector is one of the Kingdom’s strongest drivers of high-quality employment opportunities, supported by the strong backing it receives from Saudi Arabia’s leadership. This support enables the sector to promote innovation and strengthen the present and future of real estate projects across the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Eng. Maan Al-Othaimeen, General Manager of Supply Chain at NHC, presented the key objectives, responsibilities, and achievements of Supply Pro, an integrated digital platform launched by NHC to improve the performance and efficiency of supply chains in the construction and building sector.

He noted that one of the platform’s key achievements has been facilitating approximately SAR 2 billion in transactions and services for partners and contractors, with around 95% contributing to local content.

Al-Othaimeen explained that Supply Pro brings suppliers, contractors, and building-material manufacturers together on a single platform, providing a reliable and fully digital connection between suppliers and buyers.

Real Estate Development, Supply Chains and SME Support

A panel discussion titled “Real Estate Development Projects, Supply Chains and Supporting SMEs” featured Ahmed Al-Manea of SOKOK Financial, Eng. Tariq Al-Ghamdi of Emaar Saudi Arabia, and Eng. Sufyan Al-Majidi of NHC.

Eng. Al-Majidi highlighted the pivotal role of real estate supply chains in developing the real estate sector, emphasizing the importance of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and providing them with financial solutions. He noted that SMEs have significant opportunities for transformation, development, and growth.

Ahmed Al-Manea discussed the importance of providing financial solutions to SMEs, noting that financial support provided by his organization has contributed to the construction and development of more than 3,600 real estate units across the Kingdom.

Eng. Tariq Al-Ghamdi highlighted access to financing as one of the most significant challenges facing SMEs, praising NHC’s role in providing a range of financing and support options for these businesses.

NHC Commits to Delivering 600,000 Housing Units

Eng. Abdullah Al-Ruwaidhan, Head of Project Execution at NHC, confirmed the company’s commitment to delivering 600,000 housing units by 2030, out of a total pipeline exceeding 1.2 million units. The initiative supports the Kingdom’s goal of increasing the homeownership rate to 70% by 2030, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Al-Ruwaidhan noted that NHC had been working toward delivering approximately 300,000 housing units by the end of 2025, with around 155,000 units already completed. The company expects to add a further 445,000 units by 2030, bringing the total to 600,000 units.

This scale of development will require extensive real estate supply chains, in addition to NHC’s efforts to provide green spaces and wayfinding and directional signage across its projects.

Al-Ruwaidhan reiterated that NHC remains open to further strategic partnerships that can contribute to providing high-quality housing units to citizens at competitive prices. He also praised the continued support of the Minister of Municipalities and Housing for the company’s work and highlighted NHC’s strong leadership and talented teams.

Eye of Riyadh Presents Certificates to Oxford Real Estate Future Program Graduates

On the sidelines of the forum, Abdullah Al-Harbi, CEO of Eye of Riyadh and President of FIABCI Saudi Arabia, presented graduation certificates to the first cohort of Saudi participants in the Oxford Real Estate Future Program.

The program was recently held in Oxford and provides participants with a joint certificate from the University of Oxford, Eye of Riyadh, and FIABCI, in addition to a globally recognized CPD certification.

Registration for the second edition of the program, scheduled for October, is now open.

Real Estate Supply Chain Exhibition

The forum also featured a major exhibition with the participation of more than 20 real estate and consulting companies, alongside prominent local, regional, and international companies specializing in real estate supply chains, building materials, and real estate services.

Participating organizations included the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, General Real Estate Authority, Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority, NHC, and CIPS, the global professional body for supply chain and procurement.

The participating entities showcased their latest products, services, and technology-driven solutions.

The second edition of the Real Estate Supply Chain Forum attracted significant attendance from local and international speakers, senior consultants, contractors, manufacturers, real estate service providers, and supply chain and local-content professionals.

The third edition of the Real Estate Supply Chain Forum is scheduled to take place on 6–7 April 2026.
