KPMG has promoted long-serving company member Fahad Aldossari to Audit leader of its Riyadh team.

Fahad Aldossari has been with the global Big Four firm for close to two decades, having joined KPMG in Saudi Arabia in 2004 as an Assistant Auditor. Fast forward to his latest promotion, and Aldossari now leads KPMG’s largest Audit team (by headcount) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He reports into Farouk Karreem, who leads KPMG’s Audit division across Saudi Arabia and Levant. “Fahad combines extensive local market knowledge and expertise that he acquired over nearly two decades with passion and I am confident that he will take Audit in Riyadh to even greater heights.”

Aldossari works for clients across sectors, including retail and e-commerce, public sector, automotive, transport, manufacturing, government, and family businesses. During his tenure at KPMG, Aldossari also worked with the firm’s member organisations in the UAE and the UK.

He holds several prestigious certifications and affiliations, such as being a Fellow of the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA), a certified member of the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (TAQEEM), and active memberships in the professional ethics committee and the professional accountant committee of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On his appointment, Aldossari stated: “I am delighted to take on my new role and I eagerly anticipate leading the Audit department in Riyadh and leveraging my expertise to strengthen the firm’s agenda of growth and audit quality.”

In addition to his new leadership role per the 1st of September 2023, Aldossari also serves as Head of Markets for Audit since the start of 2022, responsible for streamlining the business development processes of the division.
